Is there any similar programs like Cardfile that used to be included in Microsoft Windows? Simple database structure, to jot notes, etc.

I tried the Scrapbook NDA, but there's no way to organize or search it.

Programmers Online Companion doesn't have an easy way to add or modify it.

An NDA/CDA would be ideal as it would be accessible most of the time...

Notecard Maker is too cumbersome also...

I don't know of any. But The Manager is a MultiFinder-like-substance
that would open the door to running another app without exiting what
you're doing (given enough RAM, of course). It doesn't work with all
GS/OS apps; and the usual gymnastics with P8 apps still apply. But it's
    worth looking into.
