• Mime Map

    Hi,

Can anyone please tell me where the MimeMap is supposed to be in R 5.29?

In previous versions it was in Boot Choices Internet Files but I don't
have a Files directory in there.

A search with !Textseek turns up lots but all confusing.

Likewise using the task window leaves me none the wiser.

    *show Inet$MimeMappings
    Inet$MimeMappings : InetDBase:MimeMap

I must have one I think because...

    *MimeMap
MIME type: text/css, RISC OS file type: &F79
    Extensions:
    css
MIME type: text/csv, RISC OS file type: &DFE
    Extensions:
    csv
MIME type: text/html, RISC OS file type: &FAF

    etc, etc.....

The location of the one being used can always be seen by
    *Show Inet$MimeMappings
    *Show InetDBase$Path

Ta. That's where it was lurking.

What prompted me to search for it was the fact that I got an .ics file
    which the machine didn't recognize.

I have a more fully populated Mimemap from another machine which I can substitute.

Thanks for all the help folks.

    Ta. Now discovered.

An ics calender file should have leapt into Organizer but it didn't so I
    went searching.
