Hi,

For those who don't know, it's a small application that allows you to view
two pages of a score side by side (the pages are in draw format)

The update is in the display rendering, which uses the current screen configuration.
I use it with a 2560x1440 screen.

I would like to know if the rendering is correct on other screen sizes,
thank you.

I downloaded version 0.05, extracted it from the archive and
double-clicked on the application. It loaded to the iconbar, but as
soon as I clicked on the iconbar icon it gave the error "Exception
inattendue main: PMS.Rhap4M font not found" and locked the computer. I
had to switch off the power to restart the machine.

I tried again after the reboot but got the same result and had to power
down a second time.

Thanks for the tests, the Draw files come directly from Rhapsody's Draw
esport and therefore certainly use its fonts.

To do this well you would have to be font independent. This is possible by printing the score with !PrintPdf.

Then an export drawfile, the generated files are to be copied into the
score directory, ScoreAff uses the same denomination.On the other hand,
the files are bigger.
I uploaded a score driectory containing the Draw files from printPDF. this allows testing without problems (same link)It must be put in place of the
one present in the application.
On the other hand, I will correct the error message, this should not block
the computer, it is information coming from Draw.

If you manage to display the score, I would like a screenshot with the comparison between what Draw displays on your screen and ScoreAff

I fixed the problem where the application was blocking and using Draw
files without external fonts.

Draw pages are font independent,( printed in a PDF file).
Risc OS allows you to zip these pages.
The program can also be used from any pages exported as draw from !PDF

despite containing multi-megabyte sprites)

However, it wasn't until I looked at the Help file that I realised there
were supposed to be action buttons at the bottom of the window!
While it displays on my screen (current resolution 1600x900) the buttons
are not visible unless I scroll down manually.
(I was just using the left and right arrow keys to navigate without even realising that there were supposed to be navigation icons; this
indicates a good choice of user interface at any rate.) :-)

Indeed, I have just done the tests with another CM4 using a 1600x900
display and the window is a little too large in height, you can barely see
the top of the buttons.
I made my settings thinking that you had a 1680x1050 screen, I could make adjustments.

Quick question is 1600x900 the "native" mode of your screen?
the best resolution is when you light up only one point at a time on the screen. I find the other modes 'blurry'

I don't know how to tell. All my backdrops are 1600x900, so that is
what I use. :-)

I have just increased the resolution to 1920 x 1080, and that doesn't
look any more 'blurry', although of course everything on the screen is
smaller. The monitor doesn't appear to support anything larger than
that.
If I change down to 1280 x 600, that does make the anti-aliased text
look a bit blurred (although the system/bitmap font being used in
Messenger Pro is fine!)

But in principle an application surely shouldn't be making any
assumptions about the size of the screen display, although if you have a
fixed toolbar that is too wide to fit the width of the current screen
mode that is a problem....
