    I am trying to control a Titanium from a Pinebook Pro.

    Avalanche (0.28) is installed on the Pinebook, and it connects fine to a Macbook Pro.

    VNCSvr (2.09) is installed on the Titanium. With the vncserver module
    (0.22)

    I cannot get the Pinebook to connect to the titanium.

    If I install Avalanche and VNCSvr on the same computer. then the
    connection works fine - except it goes into loop as the server detects the update so updates the send!

    I have the two connected via ShareFS so copies on both are identical.

    Has anyone any ideas or suggestions? I'm stumped.

    Can you ping the Titanium from your Pinebook?

    Are you using the correct port at both ends? 5900 is used here.

    Same password at both ends?

    Are you connecting to the Titanium by it's IP address?

    Does the Avalanche Log file accessed from the Avalanche Icon Bar menu give
    any clues?

    Can you ping the Titanium from your Pinebook?

    Yes. As ShareFS connects I would not expect a ping to fail. Ping
    192.168.255 should get answers from all - but most modern devices don't respond. Risc os does!

    Yes - that is the default

    Yes

    Yes

    Does the Avalanche Log file accessed from the Avalanche Icon Bar menu

    No. Logs say connecting - bu no clue as to failure!
