Something is jamming my carriage on my HP 8710. There are a large
number of videos on this, all of which say the same obvious things and
none of which work.
One guy https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WD-x0LOXoB8 seems to get close
by saying something is jammed too high underneath the head, but his
solution doesnt seem to relate to the 8710.
Does anyone have any ideas on how I should be able to clear any jam or
reset the hardware to factory defaults on this HP8710 please?
Something cycles during the turn-on but it isnt clearing the carriage
jam??
The only thing I have achieved to date is to change the error mesage
from CARRIAGE JAM to THE PRINT HEAD CANNOT MOVE. I wonder if this
represents anything of an advance?
