Over the past several decades, many of you have come to know Kevin Duffy-whether through direct collaboration, conversation, or his leadership as Oracle's Director of Development for Oracle Rdb and Oracle DBMS on OpenVMS.

It is with great sadness that we share that Kevin passed away on March 26, 2026.

Kevin was a tireless advocate for the products and communities he supported, and his dedication left a lasting impact on all who worked with him. His passing is a significant loss that will be deeply felt across the Rdb and DBMS community."
