• Yikes ! Seem To Have GAINED Extra Day This Week

I do remember DOING stuff, mostly working on a computer
app that wasn't performing as expected, each day.

Yet I became convinced Thursday was Friday and Friday
    was Saturday.

Glitch in The Matrix ??? :-)

    Old age.
Since I don't 'go into work' it is pretty irrelevant WHAT the day is. So
I don't bother to remember it

If I need to know the computer will tell me

There is nothing a fleet of dispatchable nuclear power plants cannot do
that cannot be done worse and more expensively and with higher carbon emissions and more adverse environmental impact by adding intermittent renewable energy.

I never used a calendar until recently. There is a volunteer open lands project that is recurring on Wednesday afternoons so I set it up in Thunderbird to pop a reminder. I also walk dogs for Animal Services but
that's not scheduled but whenever I show up. The dogs don't care what day
of the week it is. Monday might be an exception. That's when a vet visits
to spay, neuter, and fix any problems so they may be a little groggy.

When I was working shifts (morning, afternoon or night) I often lost
track of the days, and missed the day to return video tapes to the
    rental club.

Yea, but I'm retired now. I really DO seem to remember
doing stuff each day, yet would up with an extra day.

OLD days, I'd come in probably 7 days ... tweak the
servers over the weekend without anyone interfering
or complaining. Easier for it all to blend together
    back then.

    I'll blame The Matrix :-)

Guess an EXTRA day is better than a LOST day !
