    threaten the life of the mother and her possible child.

    Desire to live and to care for the children you

    Speaking for myself. if the mother's life is in imminent danger then
    every procedure necessary to save her life should be allowed by law.
    If the baby can be saved, great.
    If not, the woman's life comes first.

    it I support terminating the pregnancy. This would normally be very early in the pregnancy..

    Baloney! Pregnancy termination is a medical procedure. It is not used as another method of birth control by the vast number of persons
    submitting to the procedure which in the USN Medical Corps I saw done frequently while I was on Taiwan in the 1950s. It was called "dilation
    and curettage" and it was done by USN Medical Officers, Surgeons by any description. They were caring for the wives of Service Members in the
    MAG. I was working as an HM3 to that point of my recollection is clear.

    around to reopening the Newsgroup on my computer. I have wide variations
    in my health at 89.
