If you do, you're an even stupider fuck than I thought.
It astounds me that they think they can make a claim without support,
and it's weird that they would want to make a claim with no basis in
reality, but right-wing media feeds this strategy, say whatever is
convenient, it doesn't matter if it's true.
What's even stranger is that they'll waste hours of reading/posting

But, their most destructive behavior is doubling down on lies and disinformation even after proof of their lies is shown.

If so, there has to be a plan to ensure everyone can obtain the
necessary ID - without that, it's voter suppression.
But for rare cases, getting that ID is very doable. Yes, there has
been some suppression by means of, for example, closing ID offices or
running them at extremely strange hours. Another example occurs when
a DL office for an entire county is only open from 10am to 2pm on
alternate Tuesdays. Alabama did exactly this sort of thing after the
2020 election. They closed dozens of state offices and ran extremely
limited hours in dozens of rural counties where black populations were
high.
But that said, it still can be done and needs to be done only once
every 4-8 years, depending on your state.
So give us a plan to ensure every eligible voter has the necessary ID.
Without that, it's a no-go.
I have two certified copies of my birth certificate. The second is
because the first is so old and faded.
In both cases, I sent to my birth state a request by mail with my
birth time and place as well as the name of my pediatrician.
That seemed to be enough because that and six bucks got me my copy in
the mail within a month.

Btw, according to Pew, most Americans support expanded early voting,
voting by mail and voter ID.

See how that works Mr Cancer Stick? After you make a claim you post
your credible source for it.
Already posted. I'm going to sit back and watch you chase around like a >chicken with your head cut off trying to find that which is right in

Again, if you can't manage the basic task of maintaining valid photo
ID, you have no business voting.
If so, there has to be a plan to ensure everyone can obtain the
necessary ID - without that, it's voter suppression.
But for rare cases, getting that ID is very doable. Yes, there has
been some suppression by means of, for example, closing ID offices or running them at extremely strange hours. Another example occurs when
a DL office for an entire county is only open from 10am to 2pm on
alternate Tuesdays. Alabama did exactly this sort of thing after the
2020 election. They closed dozens of state offices and ran extremely limited hours in dozens of rural counties where black populations were high.
But that said, it still can be done and needs to be done only once

not going to happen If you apply for Social Security, SSI, or any kind of
social services - you need an ID. This silly argument that it's too hard
just does not wash.
Nope, I was right.
You're both right. It *does* disproportionate disadvantage certain
impoverished citizens BUT ...
"Just let me repeat here ... This is the 21st century. There is NO
EXCUSE for not having valid state or federal photo ID. If, in this
century, one is unable or unwilling to do that one, simple,
fundamental task of existence, one certainly does not need to be
voting."
Again, if you can't manage the basic task of maintaining valid photo
ID, you have no business voting.
If so, there has to be a plan to ensure everyone can obtain the
necessary ID - without that, it's voter suppression.
But for rare cases, getting that ID is very doable. Yes, there has
been some suppression by means of, for example, closing ID offices or
running them at extremely strange hours.
I will not budge an inch until they make obtaining ID realistically
feasible for any and every voter. Voter ID has merit in theory but in >practice it's disenfranchisement without a plan to give everyone the

Then budge. Here's how I got a copy of my birth certificate so I
could get my DL.
I sent a letter to the appropriate dept of records in my birth state.
I provided my name, birth date and time, hospital name, pediatrician's
name, both parents' full names including mom's maiden name.
I put a check in the envelope, sent it off and within two weeks I had
a certified, embossed copy of my BC.
It was easy.
This is why I have little sympathy for those who whine endlessly about disenfranchisement of voters without ID.
Your ID is easy to get and if you don't have the knowledge, motivation
or the wherewithal to get it, we'd be better off if you didn't vote.

It's easy peasy these days as 3rd party sites exist where you can order all kinds of official documents.
Here is one example.
<https://usvitalrecords.org>
You can go to your local public library and while they do not offer these documents, they will assist you in obtaining them.
The more the left argues this point the more foolish they look and the more minorities they piss off because obviously those people can obtain a BC--
in the same way everyone else can.

could get my DL.
This is why I have little sympathy for those who whine endlessly about
disenfranchisement of voters without ID.
Your ID is easy to get and if you don't have the knowledge, motivation
or the wherewithal to get it, we'd be better off if you didn't vote.
Show me where any Republican has even mentioned an innovative way to
expand access to the kind of ID required. It's nonexistent. SAVE is
saving them from losing the 2026 and 2028 elections, not democracy, it's

---------------------------------------------------------------------- Pothead's posts echo white-supremacist rhetoric point for point. She
may not call herself that, but her language repeats the same themes
found in "Great Replacement" and ethnonationalist propaganda. A few
examples:
Quote: "There is no number. Come one, come all. Criminals, terrorists,
mental patients etc."
Dehumanizing immigrants, treating them as a criminal horde. This
framing is identical to "invasion" propaganda used by
white-nationalist groups. https://www.adl.org/resources/backgrounder/the-great-replacement-an-exp lainer https://www.pbs.org/newshour/politics/what-is-great-replacement-theory- and-how-does-it-fuel-racist-violence
Quote: "They want to destroy the country so they can rebuild with a
global socialism means. They want to flood the country with people who
will settle in blue areas and ... gain control."
"Flooding" language is lifted straight from the Great Replacement
conspiracy theory--the claim that elites import non-white immigrants
to outnumber whites politically. https://www.adl.org/resources/backgrounder/the-great-replacement-an-exp lainer https://www.pbs.org/newshour/politics/what-is-great-replacement-theory- and-how-does-it-fuel-racist-violence https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Great_Replacement_conspiracy_theory
Quote: "Do it legally and you are welcomed." / "They came here
illegally, they are criminals."
Boundary-drawing rhetoric used by organized nativist networks to
equate illegality with moral corruption and inferiority. See SPLC on
FAIR and other restrictionist groups. https://www.splcenter.org/resources/extremist-files/federation-american -immigration-reform https://www.splcenter.org/resources/extremist-files/john-tanton
Quote: "Trump is going after these lazy grifters" / "a LOT of people
gaming the system..."
Echoes the "welfare leech" trope. That stereotype has long been used
to racialize poverty and build resentment against immigrants and
minorities. https://apnews.com/article/race-and-ethnicity-tucker-carlson-jonathan-g reenblatt-immigration-3ef70ca8eff84dd2c424288be1cc2f48 https://www.adl.org/resources/backgrounder/the-great-replacement-an-exp lainer
Quote: "Why are my tax dollars funding this?"
Classic "resource theft" framing--portraying minorities and immigrants
as parasites stealing from "real" citizens. https://www.splcenter.org/resources/extremist-files/john-tanton https://www.adl.org/resources/backgrounder/the-great-replacement-an-exp lainer

You can't point to the specific either. I'm not surprised. Partisans

Try again to show us in that document what provisions have been made
to ensure prospective voters have access to get their ID.

Pothead's posts echo white-supremacist rhetoric point for point. She
may not call herself that, but her language repeats the same themes
found in "Great Replacement" and ethnonationalist propaganda. A few
examples:
Quote: "There is no number. Come one, come all. Criminals, terrorists,
mental patients etc."
Dehumanizing immigrants, treating them as a criminal horde. This
framing is identical to "invasion" propaganda used by
white-nationalist groups.

Quote: "They want to destroy the country so they can rebuild with a
global socialism means. They want to flood the country with people who
will settle in blue areas and ... gain control."
"Flooding" language is lifted straight from the Great Replacement

to outnumber whites politically.

Prove it. Article and Section, please.
Federal
regulation of voting does not automatically violate the Constitution.
The U.S. Constitution establishes a shared authority model where states
administer elections, but Congress holds override authority and
Constitutional enforcement powers. See The Elections Clause (Article I,
Section 4, Clause 1), the primary authority governing federal elections.
I am right and you are wrong.
States set the "Times, Places and Manner" of holding elections for
Senators and Representatives.
That was changed by the 17th Amendment.
But the exact same clause states that
"Congress may at any time by Law make or alter such Regulations." The
U.S. Supreme Court has repeatedly affirmed that Congress has ultimate
"override authority" over federal election procedures.
Iow, Congress has the power to legislate voting regulations but does
not actually run elections.
Enforcement of Voting Amendments (14th, 15th, 19th, 24th, and 26th). The
Constitution grants Congress explicit authority to pass federal
legislation overriding state voting laws to protect voting rights. For

Federal Election Day: Congress passed a uniform federal law establishing
that federal elections occur on the Tuesday after the first Monday in
November. States do not have the constitutional authority to change this
date for federal races.
Pretty sure this is the part where you push the goalposts.
More likely we're talking about two different things. The
Constitution provides some guidelines and regulations but does not
allow the federal government to actually run or conduct elections.

Stop moving the goal posts. I was very clear that the Federal

state voter roles so as to investigate "fake" elections at state

isn't no matter what whining the GOP does.
So it isn't happening but it needs to be stopped?

Stop moving the goal posts. I was very clear that the Federal

obtained when I turned 18. When Real ID became required, here, and I
had to renew, I showed my passport, Social Security, voter registration
and Selective Service registration.
WOW, you still have your draft card?
I haven't seen mine in 50 years....
Registration is still required.
As far as birth certificates... not everyone has one. Not everyone can easily
get one.
Bullshit.
I had troubles getting mine... and others have a much harder time than I did.
Well, I had one, but it was not properly stamped so I had to get another as an
adult.
I had shit stole from my house a few years ago. My birth cert included. I was
able to go online and follow directions and had a hard copy in the mail a week
later.
And? Are you suggesting this is a universal experience?
You never did answer this question.
You made an assumption you will not be clear with.
You cannot understand how others might not share your same experiences. And
that is quite telling. It is really common with the right wing mindset -- lack
of empathy or understanding of how others have different experiences,
privileges, etc.
I don't care. Take care of your own business. You are defined by your choices.
And you by yours. Your choices are poor ones -- ones which show bigotry and an
entitlement world view.
Do better.--
