ACA is a train wreck but a quick look at Trump's 'Great Healthcare Plan'
isn't giving me warm fuzzies.

Here is a decent analysis of current healthcare in the US from a left of center organization.
It does not look encouraging.

US healthcare is rife with fraud.

Doctors who have zero role in treatment walk into a hospital room, pick
up a chart, scribble something on it, then later the patient gets a bill
for something that never occurred, from a doctor who had zero role in
their treatment.

That needs to stop.

There is also that financial agreement that gives the hospital permission
to inflate or add unnecessary charges. Pay attention to your admission status, especially if you are on medicare. Observation vs inpatient.
Look it up. If you get admitted, demand that the status is inpatient,
write it on the form when signing.
