Personally I use text and graphical browsers. Text browser I use
together with newsboat when i read RSS channels in console. I compile
elinks text browser without cookies nor JS. All web sites works, except

<https://askubuntu.com>

which refuse to work without JS (but new questions are still visible in newsboat). Images in elinks are visible as links and can be displayed in imagemagic (for some unknown reason). This trio (newsboat, elinks and imagemagic) are very convenient to me.

NOTE: I use old newsboat. But new version require source modify before
using in order to disable unnecessary/neurotic clicks, like this:

"Are you sure bitch to mark this channel read?"

NOTE: The same is required for all versions of elinks.

NOTE: Additionally elinks sources must be modified in order to skip
rendering unnecessary lists of menus. But it is easy to find first <h1>
tag, and render everything from that index - this require only few LOC.

NOTE: Above soft is still modifiable and usable in FOSS way. But evil governments and bankers work hard to destroy FOSS idea which allow us to modify sources. They want switch Linux users to Snap/Flatpack/AppImage
crap which effectively close FOSS sources, because it is impossible for
end user to rebuild Snap/Flatpack/AppImage package. If some day they
drop entirely deb and rpm packages, then shortly after all people will
behave like neurotic idiots due to unnecessary/neurotic clicks and other
evil psycho-technique.

NOTE: Snap/Flatpack/AppImage not only close FOSS sources, but also
provide out of control packages (they can easy steal all your private
files). This can happen because you can't control package sandbox like
deb programs in firejail. Because Snap/Flatpack/AppImage sandbox is
configured by package vendor instead by end user.

So advocate against closed and out control evil "trojan horses" like Snap/Flatpack/AppImage.

You should try Links:

Links is both a text browser *and* a graphical browser which displays images. To get graphical links just execute: links -g.

The site <https://askubuntu.com> does work in graphical links.

Graphical links (links -g) can render all standard HTML, including image
tags, but it does not render CSS or javascript. The lack of CSS is no
problem and the lack of javscript is only an issue for worthless junk
sites.

The web is supposed to be based in HTML markup. The use of javascript
for rendering is a contravention of the purpose of the web and should
be absolutely forbidden.

But distro lackeys, who can't do anything for themselves, will only
sit and suck their thumbs while browsing (and drooling) with Google
Chrome.
