    I have mentioned ftpd server in Linux. ftp command in Coherent will probably not work, but lynx can get files from ftp server. You have to enable httpd server on Linux. BTW if You have httpd server working on Your Linux
    virtual machine You do not need ftpd server :).

    For example

    lynx http://ftp.mutt.org
