    Bug Fixing ONLY!

Please report any "imperfections" in this post. ;)

FIRST AND FOREMOST, A BIG THANK YOU TO DAVE ROYAL!
    ... and this isn't just a formality.

Starting with version 1.4, most of the fixes in *NeReO* have come from
his reports: the Followup-To field, the update menu, the three-dot
menus that opened in the wrong place, the rCLmark all as readrCY option in
the panel view, and replies to cross-posts on the phone.
What makes them valuable isn't the number. She also points out where
the bug is NOT, saving us half the investigation; she corrects us when
we misunderstand something instead of letting it slide; she accepts a compromise and specifies which one; she sends diagrams, not just
complaints; and she keeps test cases ready on uk.test and it.test, so
the fix can then be verified in the same environment.

    Changes in this Release:

    * FOLLOW A DISCUSSION now also tracks its future, not just the past.
Until now, "follow the discussion" marked the messages that existed at
the moment you clicked it: replies that arrived later were not marked
    as
followed-that is, the exact opposite of what you had asked for.
And it wasn't just the star that was missing. The marker also protects
against filters and automatic deletion, so the newest messages in a
thread you were following were LESS protected than the older ones, and
the thread could be emptied from the middle without you noticing.
Now a reply inherits the marker from any ancestor it follows, at any
depth: this works even if a message in the middle of the chain has
    never
    been downloaded.
This applies to messages arriving from now on. Replies already in the
archive remain as they are: to bring an old discussion up to date,
remove and re-enable "follow." (Reported by BIG Umberto, who had called
it "just a cosmetic issue" - it wasn't)

    * "MARK ALL AS READ" returns to the panel view bar, where it now takes
just one tap instead of two. It had been removed in 1.4.1 for a good reasonrCoit was right next to the unread filter and was often pressed by accidentrCobut the paginated view had received a better solution for the
same problem: there, the icon had been MOVED away from the filter, not
removed. Now the panels have the same solution, in the same position,
and the option is removed from the menu: one path per view, and the
    same
in both. "Mark All as Unread" remains in the menu, because thatrCOs
    really
rare. (reported twice, regarding two different issues, by Dave Royal)

    * "ALWAYS REPLY TO ALL GROUPS" also works on the phone.
This setting has been available since version 1.2.7, but it was only
displayed in one place: when opening the cross-post dialogrCoand in the
page view, you go straight to the compose screen without passing
    through
that dialog. So it was turned on but had no effect: the screen showed
only the group you were reading, until you manually opened the
    selector.
Now, a reply to a cross-posted article includes all the groups from the original, up to the specified limit. If the author has requested that
the discussion continue elsewhere, their request still takes
    precedence.
    (reported by Dave Royal)

    * AN ARTICLE CAN BE SAVED AS AN .eml FILE, which an email client opens
as a message instead of having it pasted inside. This is the other half
of a request from 1.3.6: back then, the solution was to share the raw
article, which is useful for reading it elsewhere but not to preserve
    it
The file is written with the encoding headers rewritten to match what
    it
    actually contains:
NeReO saves the bodies already decoded, so copying the original
Content-Type would have caused the file to misrepresent itself, and
    every
accent would have come out wrong. ItrCOs a toolbar action like any other,
so you can move it in the menu or remove it from Appearance ->
    Customize
Toolbars. (requested by Adam H. Kerman)

    * The QUOTE INTRODUCTION can now also include the SUBJECT of the quoted message, using %subject% (or %oggetto%). This is added to the
placeholders that were already thererCoauthor, email, date, time, group,
and Message-ID rCo and applies to regular replies as well, not just when quoting from another group. (requested by Ammammata)
