From Newsgroup: comp.mobile.android
More and more, privacy-aware folks are running into PairIP so I figured I
may as well start a thread on the Android newsgroup as to what it is.
Q: Has anyone else on this Android newsgroup run into PairIP yet?
A: ?
Note: When a developer enables PairIP in the Google Play Console, Google modifies and recompiles the app before publishing it. This recompiled code
is NOT open source. It's proprietary code from Google. Google injects a
native binary (libpairipcore.so) and wraps parts of the app's code inside
an encrypted virtual machine. <

Apparently, without being able to unlock the bootloader, there is currently
no reliable way known (AFAIK) to bypass a strict PairIP implementation if a developer chooses to enforce it.
I've run into it.
Have you?
