From Newsgroup: comp.mobile.android

After trying all others (including Opera) on my Windows 10 desktop, I
prefer Edge browser.
On my android I prefer Opera because of the way it handles bookmarks/favourites. One other special thing is that when a webpage is
set as a link on the Home Screen, it picks up the correct icon.

It would seem more logical to have the same browser on both, but if I
try to set a website as a link using Edge, all I can get is a coloured
icon with the first character of the link title. This means that I can
have several such links with the same character; true the text below is different, but who reads text on such s tiny icon?
Is there a way round or should I just accept what I have?
