these doomsayers that tell you you're gonna die from eating alone and
that it will cause you to go crazy. It tends to make you look around

likely causing it.

As for me, I don't like eating alone, but I like eating bad student-grade
pizza much less. I don't think you are likely to die from eating alone,
but you're likely to die from eating too much crap pizza.

Now, eating with a loud group in a mafia-owned steakhouse, that's much
more dangerous than eating alone.

Seems like the direction of causality could be an issue here.
Maybe teams which already get along better are more likely to eat
together. That wouldn't surprise me.

Well, I was replying to the first post in the thread, so follow-up
tricks probably are not what's going on.

I've updated the killfile for this group to include:

/alt.slack/HXref:j

So I won't see any future crossposts to alt.slack, and probably that
will be the end of "Lane W".

Now, eating with a loud group in a mafia-owned steakhouse, that's much
more dangerous than eating alone.

Depends, I suppose, on how friendly those loud people are with the
owners.
