I've just released a pure Tcl/Tk 9 module, mdi-1.tm,
with no external dependencies.
This module provides an MDI (Multiple Document Interface) Window
to which may be added any number of child windows.
The mdi::Window class provides methods for cascading, tiling, and
minimizing all the child windows it manages, and both this class
and the mdi::child (window) class provide methods for maximizing,
minimizing, restoring, moving, resizing, and closing (if
closable) child windows.
The mdi::Window class can also provide a Window menu which
supports all the above and has a Windows submenu which provides
access to all the child windows.
Included with the module is the mdi_test.tk application which
shows most of the module's facilities in action.
The module's web page also has some screenshots of mdi_test.tk
in action.
