I am trying to wrap a project. I guess I need clarification on some points:

    1) You need to explicitly copy any packages and modules you use into a
    lib folder.

    2) You need to update the auto_path properly so they can be found at run
    time.

Is this correct? Anything else to fix?

    Nobody answered...

    What I do:

    - create a folder structure:

    and files:
    <appname>.vfs\main.tcl

    The folder:

    <appname>.vfs\lib

is automatically in auto_path and contains the tcl and tk files.

    You may choose to:
    - put your files in here
    - or to use a new folder and add it to the auto_path in main.tcl

Thanks for the reply. My setup was similar if not identical to yours. It
kept giving me errors so I ended up just manually adjusting the
auto_path shortly after my post. It may have been an error on my part
    but it worked.

See Chap 19 from the first edition of my book. The chapter is
    downloadable from https://www.magicsplat.com/ttpl/index.html#v1chapters

In particular, section 19.4.4 which describes sdx usage. Note this is
    for 8.6

For the future, for version 9.x, you have also chapter 25 in Ashok's second book.
It describes how to use zip files and their encrypted solutions for your code. The drawback is to have a static linked version of Tcl.

This link is also useful :

    https://wiki.tcl-lang.org/page/Single+file+applications+in+Tcl+9

    Olivier.

PS : I did not try to answer your question because I don't use sdx anymore.
