    Excellent! In the case of Linux, is there a dependency on the gcc C
    runtime library version?

    Unfortunately yes.
    That's why I build the tclkits for x86_64 on Suse 42.3 (released 2017), so it should run on any newer system.
    The ARM and Risc-V versions are compiled on Debian 12.2.
