Okay so to make better transitions between songs, which one do i adjust to make the transitions tighter, cue in, or cue out?, and i what level should i adjust them to, i really don't want to normilize the audio, as it may take away from the original file, i really don't like using compressors or limiters.

In order for your application to play music, you will need to upload MP3files to your Raspberry Pi. These files should go in the playit/assets/mp3directory and be named 0001.mp3 for the track with TrackID of 1:
To simplify your lives, do not include any tracks you don't have a MP3for. Otherwise, the track will show up on the web application and the userwill be confused when the song does not play.
Current Song: This is a section on the page dedicated to displaying the current song information (album cover, track name, album name, artist) and the audio controls (previous song, play/pause, next song).
The majority of the work will be done in playit.js, which is theJavaScript file for adding interactivity to the web application. Below isa walk-through of the provided JavaScript code and a description of whatyou need to modify.
To go to the next song, we will increment this value. Conversely, whenwe go to the previous song, we will decrement this value. If we reachthe front or back of the queue, we will wrap around to the other side.
displayPlaylist: This function displays the Playlist notebook tab by setting the CurrentNotebook to Playlist and updating the contents of notebook-body-contents to display a playlist table that displays the song number, song album cover, song artist, song album, and song track name.
PlayIt Live is automation and playout software. Like Radio.co, it takes what would be manual processes and makes them automatic. So rather than create a playlist song by song, automation software will generate one for you. It reduces the labour of running a radio station, big time.
I would like to share a tip about how to play a playlist one song at a time from iTunes on a computer. The tip I am sharing is simple, but I was not able to find it in the iTunes Help. After searching on the internet I found the idea for this solution in a discussion in which this was presented as a frustrating problem rather than a desired behavior. This tip relies on the checkbox for each song in iTunes. For a song in a playlist to play automatically, the checkbox must be checked. To keep a song from playing in a playlist, simply uncheck it. Therefore, to keep all songs from playing automatically in a playlist, simply uncheck them all. Now you have a list of desired songs in a desired order but none of them will play automatically. You can play each one when you want to play it without having to search for the next song and without having to be at the computer to stop the playing after each song.
Based on some discussions I found while looking for a solution (including at least one in which the questioner got bashed about why anybody would ever want to do such a thing and in which the proposed solutions were things like creating one song playlists or simply press stop after each song), some may not understand why this would ever be desired. Here's why I wanted to do it:
I was responsible for playing a series of songs at a dance. I needed to stop after each song to have a transition time to allow me to introduce the next song and to give new dancers time to get onto the floor and other dancers an opportunity to leave the floor. Furthermore, I was also dancing and didn't want to have to spend time searching for the next song (which is why I wanted to create a playlist in advance with just the songs I wanted to play in the order I wanted to play them) and I wanted each song to stop after playing since I was not at the computer to press stop.
I used this to solve a problem when I run a Music Trivia Quiz. (Essentially i'm acting like a DJ of sorts) You need to be able to step through the clips in a playlist at whatever pace the group is willing/able to go. People need time to run through the song in their heads to see if they can figure out who the artist is and what the name of the song is.
As far as features go, it matches up to commercial radio broadcasting software like SAM Broadcaster. It has a seamless Auto DJ that cross-fades songs nicely with no extra settings. Adding sweepers or voice tracks to songs is one of the simplest things to do in Radio DJ.
The plugins include Audio Processing, Remote Start (which allows you to use a hardware device), Now Playing plugin (for sending the metadata of a playing song to a text file) and the Microphone Mix/Push To Talk plugin.
Some of the items you can add in the Playout Log include break notes (a duration of silence with notes), fixed time marker (which helps keep time), tracks, track groups (to pick random songs from groups and play them as per the playout policies), aux input, and remote URLs.
ProppFrexx can run in the manual mode, Auto-Play, and Live-Assist. There are three main players (A,B & C). We particularly liked that track information that includes the song's format, BPM, Bitrate, Duration, etc.
In this review, we created two subcategories under Music in the Playlist window; Top 40 songs 2016-2017 and 1972 Top 10 Hits, then imported music using the + button, which allowed us to add multiple files at once.

In general, if you're using the Free version of Spotify on your phone, and your playlist has less than 15 tracks in it, the app will automatically add new songs to the playlist so that its runtime increases and you don't get the same songs twice. This feature cannot be disabled, but if you add more than 15 songs, the additions from Spotify would disappear.
Premium users have access to the Enhance playlist feature, which automatically adds similar songs to your playlist as long as the feature is turned on. You can turn it off by clicking on the Enhance button at the top of your playlist.
Something else that's worth checking out is if the Autoplay feature is toggled on in the app's Settings and toggle it off. Autoplay continues the playback with similar songs once your current music finishes playing. More info can be found here.
I am having this problem, where Spotify automatically makes recommendations to my Liked Playlist. Roughly every third song is a recommendation, and these recommendations are terrible choices for my tastes. I am on a premium family account, listening on an I Phone. I see no "enhance" button among the banner items for my Liked songs playlist. I have turned off autoplay. I have nearly 4,000 songs that combine many genres on this playlist and want it to shuffle through. It is substantially diminishing the value of Spotify for me.
sorry but it did work at first and i got exited when i played last songs from few of my playlists and they ended as they should, but last night did not work and spotify kept on playing. we have to wait for a permanent solution
"Playing recommended songs for you" is caused by the Autoplay feature. There's currently an issue with Autoplay that was originally reported here and is being looked into by our tech teams. It seems that Autoplay on desktop is controlling the feature's behavior across all platforms, so try disabling it on the desktop app to see if that does the trick.
Webrenner, if your playlist has less than 15 tracks in it, the mobile app will add similar songs to extend its duration. To get rid of them, you have to add more songs to your playlist. More info on the mobile app's experience for Free users here.
PlayIt Live lets you manage playlists in your own way and create policies to be applied on individual playlists. For example, you can block a particular song from playing more than 2 times. Apart from that, you can also analyze tracks for silence and play more streamlined audio tracks.
In Live-Assist Mode, you can have small number of players (not more than four) and a list of tracks to be played. Each player picks a track from the list in sequential manner and plays the songs one by one. You can play tracks in all the players simultaneously.
PlayIt Live is a nice, free music player that allows you to play multiple songs together. The good part is that it operates in different modes; users can play music in any mode they want. The bad part is that the basic playback controls (Back, Previous, First, Next) are missing.
