I have found most of the dependencies, though I have GSL 2.5 rather than 2.6. But I can't find MPFFT. I presume that this is multiprecision fast Fourier transform or some such. Is this another GNU package? When can I find it?
Also, it looks to me as if the language bar tool tip for slash bar is missing an 'L' in the first format on the "N-wise Reduce Operator" line.
Running NARS2000 in Wine under LMDE 4, the latest version that will work is 0.9.5.4. Tooltips sometimes remain on the screen after I move the mouse away from the items they are associated with. Sometimes the keyboard hangs when I am entering text using the Alt key and I have to hit Ctrl-Alt-Del and then cancel the reboot to unlock it. Also, the Cinnamon window manager takes over the Alt-backtick and Ctrl-backtick keystrokes so I can't use these to enter APL symbols..

It's available on GitHub among other places:

Good eye. I'll fix it in the next release.

Yes, Wine isn't perfect nor is NARS2000. Perhaps I need to do something
else when capturing the mouse so as to work on more platforms. I'll
take a look at it, although I'm not back to programming as yet.

As far as Alt-'`' and Ctrl-'`', you can assign the Diamond symbol to
another keystroke using the built-in keyboard handler in NARS2000. For
    more details, see http://wiki.nars2000.org/index.php?title=Customization.
