Was looking around and found Gophie, a Windows/Mac/Unix Gopher client written in Java under GPLv3. Just wondering if anyone had experience
with it; I'll be playing with it a little this week.
Can't say I have, I've only used GUI clients lately. But I've been
meaning to switch to console-based and was actually trying to remember
what the gopher client was I used 'back in the day' (late 90s). It
was just called 'gopher' I think.
I can't find that in my linux system's package manager, but I see
there's still a package of that name in FreeBSD, so I'm going
to try that :)
My first impression is, it works just fine but could use a little TLC,
maybe a bookmarks list.
Let us know how you get on! The screenshots on their site look
good.
Cheers,
