I'm currently working on a small static site generator for my gemlog.
Which means that I'm abusing LibreOffice Calc and some Basic script to create .gmi files from the content of a sheet.
Quick'n'Dirty doesn't even come close to describe the abominations I'm putting together.
Anyhow...
While I'm at it, I'd also like to include a feed for subscription in a standard feed reader. And there the questions begin.
Is there any way to serve a feed.xml via e.g. Agate on port 1965? Or do I have to set up NGINX and provide the .xml via 80/443?
How do other people do this?
"standard feed reader"? Do you mean the feed reader in some gemini
client? Or a feed reader that works through HTTP?
My gemlog just provides a gemfeed, which is sufficient for all gemini
feed readers out there. It sounds like you want to provide an Atom feed instead, which is certainly an option, but it is unclear why you want to
do that or what your goal is.
