    I have a ton of files in .npp that im trying to either edit or transfer over to mac and i seem to be hitting a road block because of the age of the software and figuring out a way to transfer them over to a mac and still having the option to edit them

    hmm, .npp files are indeed a unique special file format after some
    googling. The only way looks like to setup a W95 virtualbox and
    install that program again and save your ton of files in a different
    ( pdf? ) format. That looks like a very time consuming option, but if
    you really need those files, good luck and I hope you have plenty of
    time :-).
