    So Nepal has a remarkable number of historical writing systems used by
    its various languages and ethnic groups. Most of them were repressed
    under the Rana dynasty, but some are now making a comeback <https://www.aljazeera.com/features/2024/7/6/the-long-and-joyous-road-to-revive-nepals-ancient-taboo-scripts>.
    I think only one or two of the scripts have encodings in current
    Unicode.

    The article links to this project <https://github.com/EkType/Nithya-Ranjana/blob/main/README.md> to
    create a font for Ranjana Lipi. In the absence of a script-specific
    Unicode encoding, they let you use either the Devanagari or Newa code
    blocks.

    looks interesting. ;)
