    My [_gvimrc] file is (in some ways) like the proverbial "Third-Rail" so that...

    i was parsing-a-a-a noundofile-a-a-a as-a-a N-oun-D-ofile,-a-a-a Noun-Do-File, ....


    -a-a :set scrolloff=5-a-a-a-a The above command can be abbreviated as :set
    so=5. Entering :set so=0 restores the default behavior so the cursor
    can be moved to any line in the window without scrolling.


    -a ... set et ( :set expandtabs) does not change the tabs already
    existing in the file, one has to do :retab . For example: :set et
    :retab. and the ...
