i'm using ed for my connections via ssh
    its a really good editor
and is on everything, i'm really thinking in use it as my main editor

it do not use my connection for stupid help or error messages, just clean
    and consistent interface.

I use Emacs. It can work in either terminal or GUI mode.

As a user of ed as my main editor, I'd say,
go for it! You might find that you're the ed kind
    of person after all.
