    I've only been here for a few years, but I'm glad that someone picked up
    the reins after Bill Horne fell ill. I've watched a number of groups
    die just over the last few years. This might be the only moderated
    group I still check into.

    I got an 800 number from a vendor PAT recommended, the first day of Portability. Great deal, and the number spelled my company name.

    I also miss the Templeton era of r.h.f

    Telephones aren't what they used to be.

    I'm old enough to remember "23 ring 2" phone numbers and crank phones.
    We still have a land line and a Nortel 2500 set but I have a smart
    phone that I don't really know how to use as well.
