• 10.2.0 Patch and licensing scheme?

    Does that patch change something in the licensing scheme of Ingres? like the activation procedures becomeing more strict or something along that lines?

    I was told there's only one patch for that version on Linux 64

    The patches I've mentioned in my earlier posts are for the commercial GA release of 10.2.-a The GA release and older patches can run without a
    license key. -a Recent patches require the license.xml file to be placed
    on the server.

    To run the GA release, your client needs a valid contract. Please
    contact your site's Actian representative for more details.
