I am sad to report that our long-time colleague Chris Dawe has died
after a prolonged illness.
Geraint Jones has posted a small obituary on
https://communities.actian.com/s/actian-ingres, to which I can only add
that Chris remained chair of the UK Ingres User Association till the
end. In my time in that role I relied on Chris as an energetic member of
the conference committee.
