    Well, it's that time.
After 35+ years in IT with 25+ of those years is databases (mostly Ingres), time has come to hang my hat.
Saw Ingres go from ASK, CA, Ingres Inc and now Actian. Still have fond memories of CA-World (and the t-shirts).
I couldn't say goodbye without thanking members of this group for the help and support over the years.
And a special tip of the hat to Karl, Roy, Marty and Jean-Pierre if you're still out there !
I've known you guys longer than many of my friends :)
Take care everyone and who knows, I may return to the database world one day. Andro Laframboise

    Have a good one!

    I am of similar vintage.

I miss my time with the Dining Philosophers. I wonder how many people
here have any clue what I'm on about?

Andro Say it ain't so! :-(

It has been a delight, and thanks for your (fairly) recent help with
    that Bell thing.

As my mother would say, "There are damn few like us. And they're all
    dead."

Have a great Christmas, and if this is retirement I hope it is so long
    you get bored with it.

Does it involve squirrels? Or am I thinking of a different dinner?
