  • When Sydney Trains don't know about their rolling stock.

    I was asking about the absence of an internal emergency door release on
    a particular carriage. The reply:

    "There are no inside emergency releases on the doors on the sides of the
    train as this poses a significant safety risk to passengers. These
    releases are located on the outside of the carriage for our emergency
    services and crew."

    Really? That's strange, because I've seen them, just not on that train.
