    AI Overview
    restaurant/-erest(+O)r+Ont/
    A restaurant is a business
or building where people pay to sit down, buy, and eat prepared
    meals.
Origin and HistoryFrench roots: The word comes from the French
word restaurer, which means "to restore" or "to refresh".
    Early use: In
18th-century Paris, public shops sold rich, restorative meat broths
    meant to cure physical fatigue.
Modern menu: Over time, these places
began offering a selection of solid foods and individual choices from a
    menu.
    Common Types
Fine dining: High-end venues with formal service and
    upscale food.
Casual dining: Relaxed sit-down spots like family
    restaurants, diners, and cafes.
    Fast food: Quick-service counters or
drive-thrus where you order and grab food fast.

All nice, but a 6"-high fresh hamburger tops all. With meat, bacon,
lettuce, onion, beetroot, sauce, garlic, tomato, pepper,
capsicum, lottsa salt, with buns properly toasted, and beer to wash it
    down.

After work long ago at 1am we would get this at "Hamburger Max" a
sleazy joint with Max making the burgers from a huge pile of ground
beef. Lottsa low life in the joint, hazy with cigarette smoke. Then
repair to the car, with a CB radio and proceed to insult all truck
drivers within range. Ahhh them were the nights!

    Nope.

everything on the home shopping channels tends to be silver/gold overlay, rather than decent quality gold.

I don't think I've seen anything gold unless really expensive in a very
    long time.
