Trump is about to have his nightmare in the mid terms
when he loses control of the congress, forever for him

The lurch when clocks alter has a detrimental effect.

It has a benefitial effect for most and I keep my
own permanent daylight saving time anyway

We might get some reasoning here and abolish the grotesque artifice.

    No chance of that

One of my old schools had a very old pendulum clock that ground to a
halt occasionally. The cleaner would dampen an old rag with
kerosene and put this in the clock enclosure. The fumes from the rag
would soften the old grease and the clock would start again. Not a
    permanent solution though.
