Where is your Albanese Labor nearest soup kitchen going to be?

My Albanese??? What made you fantasise Petz dear that I would be an
Albanese fan boi. He is the horridly pragmatic parliamentary leader of a
to the centre right shifted party that is reluctant to decide what it
should actually stand for. The only thing still going in his favour is
that he is nowhere near as bad as the rest of the rabid rightard mob
that exclusively represents millionaire/billionaire upper class interests.

Anywho, I am not surprised that you are desperate to find a soup kitchen
these days, as GoonBag juice alone can not really warm you up while
sitting on your Shitboxville park-bench home shivering from the cold,
quite unlike a hearty soup distributed to the homeless by diligent
    volunteers.
As far as I heard, the Federal government is not responsible for
delivering soup to social failures/rejects like you. Most likely this is within state government's duty to oversee this kind of stuff. I'd
suggest you get the relevant info from your to Shitboxville district
    assigned social workers, Petz dear!

    :-P :-P :-P

PS; I see that you are happily willing to excuse the unashamed political meddling of all these self crowned born to rule billionaire vultures.
Laying in in the dirt under your parkbench home in alcoholic abuse
induced stupor you let those your delirium elevate you into the
neo-feudal circles of the filthy rich ruling class. Happy dreams, Petz dear! :-P :-P :-P :-P

Yeah! Let's bring on the horrid apologist whataboutism!
That is the last desperate resort of those armies of paid defenders of >>>>> our vulture capitalist millionaire/billionaire class ghouls and their >>>>> political far-right-a political puppets.
Yeah! Politics/politicians bought and sold like financial assets???

Where is your Albanese Labor nearest soup kitchen going to be?

My Albanese???-a What made you fantasise Petz dear that I would be an
Albanese fan boi. He is the horridly pragmatic parliamentary leader
of a to the centre right shifted party that is reluctant to decide
what it should actually stand for. The only thing still going in his
favour is that he is nowhere near as bad as the rest of the rabid
rightard mob that exclusively represents millionaire/billionaire
    upper class interests.

Hey, Ordog, I can, sort of, see where Petzl is coming from. I mean
.... 'Albanese' is not what we might call an Australian (i.e. British)
Name .... just as 'Ordog' might not be an Australian (i.e. British)
    Name!!

But, then again 'Petzl' is hardly an Australian (i.e. British) Name,
    either!! .... Pot ..... Kettle ..... Black!! ;-P

And, full disclosure mode 'ON', perhaps I should have mentioned that my Father's Father's Father (i.e. my Great Grand-Father) came out from what
is now Croatia (Dubrovnik area) to try his hand at gold-mining back in
the 1850's but made more money shoeing Horses, etc, as a Blacksmith. ;-P

    Pssssssssstttt Daniel!

Not so loud, as Petz might hear you and start to rant about the urgent
need for making a pure UK-white Anglophone monoculture in OZ great again thereby blacklisting you too!

BTW would this mean that your 19th century ancestral home was also

    BULLSHIT!
All Australian clubs can apply for caving permit in NSW. Hey, even the

    National Parks.

Bullshit! It has not been available ever since our website management
was taken over from me by our current webmaster yonks ago. And by now my

They now need a logon, which makes sense
The active caving group is the Sydney University Speleological
    Society.

You moron! There are quite a number of *ACTIVE* caving clubs in New
South Wales. How many times do I need to point that out to you!
Just check the ASF list of active clubs!

You have left out the actually most important questions like which caves
will be visited, and for what purpose! National Parks could not give a
shit about what equipment is used by cavers, nor their experience, nor
their ages as long as no damage is done to the caves and all rules set
by National Parks have been adhered to judiciously.
Moreover, after the completion of the trip the leader has to file a
detailed trip report on what the group did undergrounds, and what
important scientifically relevant observations they made if any (for
    example encounters with cavefauna, etc).

No matter how hard you try, Petz dear, your desperate bullshitting won't

What a genius you are ... not.
Clearly you are just improvising again (pulling pure bull out of your
own arse), mostly based on what I have said in my previous posts. Of
course, there are a number of readily available info sources around
about rules, guidelines and regulations set out by various government
and scientific advisory groups including ASF (Australian Speleological Federation) regarding the use, management and preservation of karst
areas on crown land. Furthermore, private property owners can set their
own additional rules on freehold land as they please.

So dar the ones that one gets approval from is oly if the pass the

    BTW
Why are you so lazy in using your spell checker, Petz dear?

Anywho, my club has no say in who gets to do caving and who does not
anywhere in Australia. At the most, we can contribute to official policy formulation only in an "interested stakeholder" modus raising our
concerns, which are then regularly ignored by the state government
bodies most of the time. ASF, of course, has a little more influence but
even their concerns and advices are overridden more often then not!
Having said that, ASF does have an influence on what guidelines the
different speleological organisations should follow and also what
scientific projects should be approved and which should not!

    particually
    Sydney University Speleological Society

Just another bullshit fantasy of yours. They are just another club
amongst all those others in Australia.

And they are the ones watching you.

The hell they do. I really-really can't imagine where did you get such nonsense notion from? Your GoonBag fairies at work again, Petz dear???

All caving clubs are expected to report damage found in caves as well as unacceptable behaviour observed by cavers and tourists to the Park authorities. In fact, SUSS has been found on a number of occasion to be
the offender themselves. Guess why cavers aren't allowed to enter
Cliefden Caves, located on private land, any longer. <https://nucc.caves.org.au/locations/cliefden/>
SUSS has somehow managed to piss off real good the current owner who has
sworn never ever to let any cavers on his land, no matter what! We
happen to know his neighbour and asked him to try to persuade him on our behalf to change his mind least for members of our club but even that
    was to no avail!

So much for SUSS "watching over" others, eh, Petz dear!

Try harder Petz dear, try much harder selling the bullshit you keep on peddling! :-P

I do, my eyesight not the best and news reader only has very small
text in American English, not Oxford English.

There is a very easy fix for that problem. You have to define an
external text editor for your news reader that has a proper spell
checker. However you are apparently just to lazy even to try.
Your spelling mistakes are absolutely shocking regardless of which
dictionary is available to you for the purpose of spell checking!

As a once actual Caver what I have said applied in my days,

Were you really a caver or are you just pretending as it is never a
clear cut case with you. In this instance I strongly suspect it is the
latter. What you are banging on about right now is just some sort of
pathetic faith saving exercise. The proof for that is you apparent lack
of knowledge about other caving clubs or the existence of ASF or the
legal status of clubs in the country.

    doubt if they have changed,

Of course, they have changed as the ASF took more and more active role
in representing cavers, their recreational and scientific activities and
the protection of caves and their environment... of course you should
know that if you kept up with current affairs but sadly somehow you've
    got stuck in the past.

    Here:

Both SUSS and SSS are just simply member clubs in that federal organisation.

believe, say you are talking shit.

Stop projecting so profusely Petz dear!
You clearly know no active cavers as they would immediately call out
your bullshitting. As I have have pointed out to you by now quite a few
times here already in this newsgroup we aren't in the 1960s-70s any longer.
Try to catch up, will you?

There are plenty of resources on the web and also in public libraries to verify what I have so far stated on this topic and they are also proving
that you are the one who is full of shit!

Not uncommon in aus.politics particularly from you!

So asserts the crowned village idiot of aus.pol, thus everyone must
believe it, eh Petz dear? It ain't gonna ever happen. :-P

You are done, and that is the final fun fact for the day!

Our position can be put sharply like this:
The founding Christian culture and language (monarch under God,
oAlmighty Godo clause, Christian legal heritage) are part of the
    original meaning.

Modern judicial readings that treat oany religiono as if the framers
had a completely open, post? 1960s pluralist concept of religion are effectively rewriting the Constitution without a referendum.

Any genuine shift from oassumed Christian commonwealtho to olegally
secular multicultural commonwealtho should be done openly by
referendum, not implicitly via case law.

That is a coherent constitutional philosophy. ItAs just not the
philosophy the High Court has actually followed.
TheyAve kept the text, used the Christian heritage as background, and
then let modern legal interpretation move well beyond the framersA
social assumptionsuwithout going back to the people under s 128.

Good Internet speed can go fast but need to pay more.
    This is more than adequate

I'm going to run a Ethernet cable to computer, that for me will be the
hardest part, AI as I have high speed Internet access recommends
    Chrome.

I still see absolutely no need for AI, specially not on chrome, but hey
this seems to be kind of an out of control fashion these days.

Both Firefox and Brave (a privacy focused chrome browser) has kind of
built in AI, just like these days most search engines.
How do I know this? Because I had to go through the nasty pain of
disabling and stopping all and every AI-slop features I came across in
    software and on the web.

    But yes
My email it use Gmail online webpage.
Very reliable, no need for a email APP.

app like Thunderbird. You can easily configure it so that it can access
your Gmail account as well as your Usenet account with ease. It has a
built in wizard to do the job.
Having said that, I have still decided to use something else for the
purpose because of my special needs (automation, scrips integration and
improved kill filtering for the removal of all toxic Usenet content).

But yes Linux Mint sounds good if not great
If you care at all about your privacy you should also ditch Gmail.
Google just like Microslop simply can't be trusted any more with
    handling your data.

I do recommend you a YouTuber who can keep you well updated on matters
of switching to Linux and also improving your online privacy. Before you
reject my suggestion out of hand, the person running YouTube channel is
extremely right leaning and he is clearly obsessed with religion, but
hey, I can still agree with much of his technical expertise and his
obsession with privacy despite his regrettable political bent.

Not worried about Gmail gathering my info, you have seen my posts and
    cant make much of them.
You think Gmail can make much from my email?

I do, in fact, I am certain of it. For Google you are the product!

Until I do go to Linux feel the Linux Chrome Operating system will
    guide me in (Baby steps).

Why don't you just try to boot your PC with a live Linux Mint (or any
other) iso (on a DVD or USB) to try it out before you decide. That way
your existing OS remains fully untouched and you still you get a good
idea what you let yourself into before committing to a full install.

I simply find the Chrome Browser best and offers protection where
    Firefox doesn't.

Absolutely wrong. In any case, in every browser in existence today you
have to fiddle quite a bit with the settings to override nasties in the defaults. In Chrome some stuff just can not be disabled, well, not
unless you use Brave, a chrome based browser!
The max protection today you'll only get from Mullvad (also a chrome
based browser (ignoring for now the TorBrowser option) but it does
break some of the websites...that is the price you have to pay for that
    level of protection.

These browser seem ok for a while then act up, Firefox has let me down
badly went to Opera suddenly that became strange so dumped it as well.

Brave is a better chrome based browsers with already built in ad blocker
that actually works. (Bye-bye ads on YouTube for good).
I use several different browsers, each one is dedicated to certain tasks
which is the best way towards protecting one's privacy. Chrome OS is on
its way out as Google is intending to drop support for it.
I prefer a lot more stable and better supported OSs like any of the Debian-stable release (upstream development) based one, that includes
Mint too. Although, you don't get the very latest bells and whistles but
you get stability, which is paramount in my opinion and on tops they
tend to work well with older PCs and laptops.

But after all, it is your personal choice and Linux gives you the
freedom to do whatever you like.

You have left out the actually most important questions like which
    caves will be visited,

    What I said still stands.

Sure, just keep on digging yourself deeper and deeper, They must be
already waiting for you with open arm in Siberia...again!

Siberia?? Did you fail Geography, Ordog??

As I kid, I was always told if I kept digging, I'd end up in China! (I
don't know if the was Mainland China or the other bit.)

I wouldn't know where exactly you could end up if you kept on digging,
    as I have never tried!-a :-P

My guess would definitely be a location somewhere to the north-west of China, but hey I could be wrong. I am just looking at my lovely
illuminated desktop globus but it is much to nice to ram a rod through
it and ruin it for good, just to make a point!
    :-P

Only if I were just drilling directly North.

Just used Google Maps. If I dug from Melbourne (-37 deg 48 min 51 sec
South, 144 deg 57 min 47 sec East) straight through the center of the
Earth, I'd end up out in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean (52 deg 11 min
09 sec North, 35 deg 02 min 13 sec West) about level with London.

    Daniel70 knows what you mean.

If you watch FTATV "Free-to-Air TV"
    pre-recorded tapes you don't see AD's.

But if you watch LIVE TV streaming of course you see the AD's.

(I don't know if the was Mainland China or the other bit.)

I wouldn't know where exactly you could end up if you kept on digging,
    as I have never tried!-a :-P

My guess would definitely be a location somewhere to the north-west of
China, but hey I could be wrong.

Thanks for that important info, Daniel. Just what I have always wanted
    to know. ;-)
Is that method cheaper than a non-stop flight Qantas getting to London???
Of course, it would require a lot of muscle power as well as good
swimming skills to make the final miles (alternatively for Petz a lot of GoonBag juice fairy magic when he decide to visit his UK idol, Farage).

    :-P

These browser seem ok for a while then act up, Firefox has let me down
badly went to Opera suddenly that became strange so dumped it as well.

Never have a problem with Opera and I use it multiple times a day
for the BBC news feed. I did that initially for the free vpn I used
only for the BBC news feed so you don't see the ads but then
that stopped with them saying it would return but hasnt for years

I use SeaMonkey Suite (Browser, Mail, News and IRC) as my "Go To" for Internet but its Browser isn't keeping up with current developments so,
more and more, I'm having to use Firefox for some sites.

I have noticed the same issue too with SeaMonkey. For mail and
news/Usenet it still remains my choice but as to browsing the web it is
    an entirely different matter.
For general browsing, banking, etc I use Firefox ESR, for Netflix the
latest Firefox (flatpack version), for YouTube GoogleChrome (flatpack
version with the Ghostery extension) which allows me to leave
likes/dislikes and comments or Brave(flatpack version) which is
basically an ad-blocker/privacy browser built around Chrome.
I have also tried Mullwad which works so bloody good for stopping all
cookies and telemetry that it breaks heaps of websites...so for me it is
    kind of useless.

In any browser no matter which one it is a good practice to spend some
time in adjusting/tweaking the settings to stop user data being
transmitted all over the place. Google Chrome is, of course, the worst offender as no matter what you do it still collects heaps of data like
    it or not!

Just started using FF for VPN stuff with Youtube. You live, You learn!!

Sadly Mozilla can not necessarily be trusted any longer not to
    collect/sell user data.
Try Proton VPN, the free version. It works well, it is located outside
the Five Eyes and once you logged in it protects everything you do
online not just your browsing activities. No problems with accessing
YouTube either. It is amongst the best rated VPN providers around the World. You can find the application in your apt repository.

I watch it live not streamed

That explains why you get the ads, there is no
way for the traditional ad killer to skip over the
ad, it would have to just kill the audio and even
if they cut the video and showed a fixed screen,
    that would be fucked

You should wait till after the live has finished,
wait for it to be available for streaming and

On my recording devices, I did record the Ads .... but I was then able

I did hear about a system in Japan that could edit out the ads in some programs. If someone in Japan was watching, for example, a Hollywood
Movie, it would have sub-titles where-as ads (made in Japan) wouldn't
have sub-titles .... so the machine would stop recording until the movie
    (with sub-titles) started again.

I mostly browse on the phone for the better visibility,

WOW. You must have brilliant eyesight, 80 y.o. or not, as on my mobile I
only see a small portion of the screen or lose anything like detail in
    the picture.

and have enough trouble with badly designed web
sites like when activating with onepass mobile which
is my MVNO now for the best price of $12.x per month
    paid a year in advance

    Sorry, "MVNO"??

$12/mth .... for how much Data?? How many Calls? What company??

I'm currently on about $40 Pay-as-you-Go with AldiMobile and that gets
me about a month or six weeks Phone/SMS usage. Very little Browsing.

Just started using FF for VPN stuff with Youtube. You live, You learn!!

This is via my TPG Landline Phone

I only use a vpn to get rid of the ads on the BBC news feeds
so need a free one. I should really get one so I can watch
the BBC streams but haven't got around to that and would
likely go for private internat access if it does that well

Firefox, now-a-days, has a VPN function inbuilt .... so I can watch
classic period 'Doctor Who' episodes whilst YouTube thinks I'm in U.S. of A.

You have left out the actually most important questions like which
    caves will be visited,

    What I said still stands.

Sure, just keep on digging yourself deeper and deeper, They must be >>>>> already waiting for you with open arm in Siberia...again!

Siberia?? Did you fail Geography, Ordog??

As I kid, I was always told if I kept digging, I'd end up in China!
(I don't know if the was Mainland China or the other bit.)

I wouldn't know where exactly you could end up if you kept on
    digging, as I have never tried!-a :-P

My guess would definitely be a location somewhere to the north-west
of China, but hey I could be wrong. I am just looking at my lovely
illuminated desktop globus but it is much to nice to ram a rod
through it and ruin it for good, just to make a point!
    :-P

Only if I were just drilling directly North.

Just used Google Maps. If I dug from Melbourne (-37 deg 48 min 51 sec
South, 144 deg 57 min 47 sec East) straight through the center of the
Earth, I'd end up out in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean (52 deg 11
min 09 sec North, 35 deg 02 min 13 sec West) about level with London.

Thanks for that important info, Daniel. Just what I have always wanted
    to know. ;-)

Glad to be of assistance, Ordog! ;-P

Is that method cheaper than a non-stop flight Qantas getting to London???

But just think of all the Energy that we could generate as we drilled
through the Centre of The Earth??

Oh!! No!! Wait. There are Dinosaurs down there, isn't there?? That you
get to by going down down through a Volcano in Iceland or some such!
('Journey to the Centre of The Earth'!!)

Of course, it would require a lot of muscle power as well as good
swimming skills to make the final miles (alternatively for Petz a lot of GoonBag juice fairy magic when he decide to visit his UK idol, Farage).

    :-P

Doesn't work for SBS and ABC doesnt
work on Win7 so I use Win11 for that

Sorry! How does "uBlock Origin Lite" kill the ads very effectively on
FTATV?? What is displayed on your screen whilst the ads are 'on'??

Nothing, its like there aren't any ads at all

So just blank screen, then. O.K.

Nope, no blank screen, the ad disappears completely

it would be better if you just skipped over the ads, saving time ....

    That's what it does

but, I guess, on Live-T.V. that would be just a little bit impossible!

These browser seem ok for a while then act up, Firefox has let me

    well.

Never have a problem with Opera and I use it multiple times a day
for the BBC news feed. I did that initially for the free vpn I used
only for the BBC news feed so you don't see the ads but then
that stopped with them saying it would return but hasnt for years
Don't use it much at all for browsing, just the BBC news feed
so I likely don't notice that it isn't being updated anymore

I use SeaMonkey Suite (Browser, Mail, News and IRC) as my "Go To" for

I see the full screen in chrome, but with pdfs I do

Unlimited calls, texts and MMSs to any landline or mobile in the country

While I have traveled a fair bit, not been impressed.

I am sorry to hear that you don't appreciate the beautiful things this
planet has on offer everywhere both as natural beauty and cultural
wonders. Of course, there are some ugliness around too in every country
(for instance down-town Shitboxville near your parkbench home, eh Petz
dear) but hey, that just better contrasts the beauty to be found.

I specially love the architectural cohesive city scape one can find in
many European cities and towns. Its total absence has always been
something that bothered me about the US and Australian suburbia.

As I had friends about did not express it.
Always said to myself why the *F* have I came here.
Prefer traveling around Sydney, overseas travel overrated.

Well the descriptive term "local patriot" is then perfectly fitting for
    you, eh Petz dear?

Luckily, quite unlike you, I am fully cosmopolitan and I feel instantly
at home everywhere where my friends and/or family reside. I never had
any serious issues with geographical locations as such, quite unlike
with some crazy people who are sadly to be found everywhere on the planet.
