Recently the interregnum announced a huge handout to fund housing infrastructure (pipes, cables, landscaping etc). The money is coming
from the generous neg-gearing thing, which hasn't worked since its
inception. They'll probably halve it. Ditto the capital gains
discounts. And, what about the tax-on-housing for the dead?

Not if it only applys to new investment property

which hasn't worked since its inception.

    Mindless bullshit

    They'll probably halve it.

If they do that will be a massive election promise flouting

    Ditto the capital gains discounts.

    We'll see...

And, what about the tax-on-housing for the dead?

Even Labor isn't that stupid, stupid

    Mindless bullshit
    It is not mindless.
    It is not bullshit.
It is fact given run-away price increases since.

    They'll probably halve it.

There it is. Now applies only to new constructions, probably now less
    than half.

    Ditto the capital gains discounts.

    We'll see...
We've seen. Much reduced, like 33%?

And, what about the tax-on-housing for the dead?

Not if it only applys to new investment property

And doesn't apply to new builds

which hasn't worked since its inception.

    Mindless bullshit

    It is not mindless.

Its completely mindless given that it does
provide a real incentive for investment in
rental property which is essential for those
who need to or choose to rent instead of own

It is fact given run-away price increases since.

That isn't due to negative gearing, its actually
due to the immense immigration rate when
the rate of new house building doesn't even
come close to enough for those to live in

    They'll probably halve it.

If they do that will be a massive election promise flouting

    There it is.

    Nothing even remotely like halved

Now applies only to new constructions,

It doesnt apply to new constructions, they still qualify
for negative gearing. It is no longer available for new
INVESTMENTS in rental property of existing housing

    probably now less than half.

No probably about it, absolutely certainly
    nothing even remotely like half

And just another example of lying politicians
who can't even be trusted on any promise at all

    Ditto the capital gains discounts.

    We'll see...

We've seen. Much reduced, like 33%?

    There is no new percentage

And, what about the tax-on-housing for the dead?

Even Labor isn't that stupid, stupid

    And even chalmers isn't.
