  • What's with all these "convenience stores" popping up?

    I live near a high street, and there are now 4 of these things: small
    shops with a few shelves of snack food and a drinks fridge. I assumed
    they are selling vapes and blackmarket ciggies, but I haven't seen
    customers going in or out. One of them doesn't even have anybody behind
    the counter. So are they a sham shop for money laundering?
