Here's a funny thing. 30 years ago if you told everyone that by
2026 we'd be living in a world where we all walked around with a >>>>>> mini computer in our pockets that tracked our every move and
listened in on our conversations they would have thought you were >>>>>> bat shit crazy.

They don't listen in on our conversations

My phone keeps a record of title of any music playing in it's
presence, so, logically, it must be listening on a continuous basis.

And you were stupid enough to have that steaming turd of a phone

Mine doesn't do anything that stupid

    Apple snob.

Apple phones are no different to Android devices when itcomes to
tracking or listening to what people are saying,

Complete and utter drivel as you have just proved with
what you said about getting ads on utube or facebook
when you have discussed something with someone
in person. That doesn't happen with an iphone

I did get that when using the google search engine,
but that is because of the search text I used, not
because it listens to what I say to anyone and I
don't get that anymore now that I use grok instead
of the google search engine because its givens what
I want and I don't have to wade thru useless hits

all the people I know who have Apple phones have the same issue with ads about a subject they recently talked about suddenly appearing.

    BULLSHIT

They are getting that result from google searches
after they have done that after discussing something
with someone else either in person or by phone

On both sorts of devices it is possible to block those features if you
know how or care enough to bother.

Don't need to with an iphone
