Hope that works? Jesus , even the prologue rings a bell...

From Book 1: The warning signs were impossible to ignore. Massive
Chinese naval exercises. American allies scrambling to form desperate coalitions. Intelligence analysts tracking ominous military buildups
    while Washington descended into paralysis.

From cyber warfare to submarine hunts, from WashingtonrCOs corridors to TaiwanrCOs threatened shores, professional soldiers and intelligence officers face impossible choices as the global order fractures. When superpowers choose sides and traditional alliances crumble, individual courage becomes the only currency that matters.

    Washington wonrCOt act.

    Beijing wonrCOt stop.

And the Pacific is about to burn.

And what a read it's become.... Trump has been hoodwinked by Xi Jinping,
so refuses to help Taiwan or his allies in their defence of Taiwan and
the greater Pacific Ocean. The war is left to China vs Australia, New
Zealand, Singapore, Malaysia. Indonesia and Japan. 2/3rds through book
two and lots of interesting relevant bits:

HMS Astute (pommie Sub) is sitting in the mud in the tiawan Strait
listening to everything the chinese are doing. and the chinese dont know
he's there even after a sweep...

War starts with an attack on Singapore. Massive casualties on both
sides. Singapore survives the first blows. Trump says Singapore started
it, and uses that as an excuse to refuse to get involved. "Xi wouldnt do
that. We are friends!" (Where have i heard that before?)

The leaders of the above countries have a meeting with Rubio and
Hegseth... Hegseth spits the dummy and sneers "You wont beat China, Your
pissy little group cant win." Aussie (not Albo!) looks him in the eye
and says "were doing pretty good without you". And another leader said
they had found the "kill switches" in the F-35's and disabled them. That
went over like a lead balloon. Then there was some discussion about
Trumps exports. of Humans to Jamiaca via container ship... Whoops if
    that got out!

The RAAF F/A-18F Super Hornets were equipped with the AIM-260, doubling
their beyond visual range capacity. And it worked well. Not bad since in reality, we only ordered them last month.

The RAAF also used their new "Loyal Wingman" or Ghost Bat UAV's https://www.airforce-technology.com/projects/loyal-wingman-unmanned-aircraft/ to greatly extend the combat power of the RAAF. In one scenario, one
actually saved a RAAF E-7Wedgetail by taking a hit from a chinese
missile, on it's own idea. No orders, just read it's software. AI saved
    the day.

The RAN is not left unscathed. The war starts, and the first casualty at
sea is HMAS Melbourne. No missiles, a pile of malicious code shuts down everything electronic onboard. When the missiles arrive, it's not
targeted, as it's seen as dead already. Not so HMAS Hobart. Reduced to
floating scrap. A Collins class sub swallows two antiship missiles
whilst tied up at Subic Bay. HMAS Supply sinks itself (for good reason)

So much more... Canada donates all its anti-ship missiles to the good
guys coz Trump wont sell them, or release any from stockpiles already
paid for by the Coalition (inc Australia)...

Book 1: Roar of the Dragon
Book 2: Teeth of the Dragon
Book 3: Ashes of the Dragon

All for free on Amazon Kindle if you have an account.

One of the best reads in years...T
