I remember seeing the footage and thinking that it all looked fake, obviously it wasn't but at the time it seemed too surreal to be true.

However, let's put things into some kind of perspective:
The US initiated a war against Afghanistan (and then, stupidly) Iraq, without any serious planning or thoughts as to what do when the wars
ended. We are now still dealing with the mess.
Additionally: The US suffers roughly three 9/11s worth of murders, via
the use of firearms each and every year. There have been precisely ZERO efforts to reduce this appalling death toll.
Weird, huh?

You must have been up so early that you never actually went to bed. The South Tower was hit our time about 10:45pm, and it collapsed an hour
later. The other one collapsed about an hour after that. The only thing
you were watching live the next day was the aftermath.

No doubt the USA is a very weird country.
They commemorate 9/11 and make a big deal out of that (which it was) but like you say they don't say much about other atrocities that take many
more lives.

It was known that Bin Larden was planning something, and it wasn't his first rodeo anyway. If they had just gone in and deleted him and his followers, and left the country alone, it would have avoided lots of problems and deaths.

Nope. Fact.
The US suffers, year on year, an average of 10,000 murders, committed
via the use of firearms annually.

Bin Laden: Saudi national
In addition to that Bin Laden was financed largely by Saudis:

Nope.
I will ask once more:
What do these words mean:
"A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State...."
The meaning of those words is clear and unequivocal to any sane
person.
So now you are stupidly trying to claim
that all of the supremes are barking mad
Well, the majority clearly are.
Yet another of your terminal stupidtys
Yep. Definitely dementia.

You must have been up so early that you never actually went to bed.
The South Tower was hit our time about 10:45pm, and it collapsed an
hour later. The other one collapsed about an hour after that. The only

You have that timeline wrong Darren.
The North Tower was hit first at 8:46AM NYDT and that didn't collapse
until 10:28AM NYDT, 102 minutes after being hit by American Airlines
Flight 11.
The South Tower was hit at 9:03AM NYDT and collapsed at 9:59AM NYDT, 56 minutes after being hit by United Airlines Flight 175.
I must have started watching a few moments before 11PM AEDT and then saw what I initially thought was a rerun of the first plane hitting the
North Tower. It was actually the second plane hitting the South Tower on
a live feed of the burning North Tower. It took a moment for the reality
to sink in. Further confusing the timeline was the attack on the
Pentagon with Flight 77 and the crash of Flight 93 in Pennsylvania.

The only difference is that he stated the first tower collapsed an hour later where it was 40 minutes longer. He's recalling it from memory
which funnily enough tends to compress time when something like this happens.

In Trevor's defence, it was very hard to get a full sense of theWe weren't talking about Trevor, this is just a distraction thrown in
enormity of what had happened that day until maybe a few days had
gone by because, quite simply, even the media was confused. But
Darren did himself a disservice by trying to shit on someone with

sure I had my facts straight whereas Darren can't even remember his
lies.
to try to take away from the fact that your obsession with Darren is
causing you to read more into what was said in an effort to prove him
wrong. In this case you ended up with large amounts of egg on your

The event was 25 years ago, anybody who says that they can remember
the timeline to the minute must have a mighty memory or be
bullshitting. I know that I certainly can't, I only remember it
relative to the time that I started work, anyway, only the truly
obsessed would be bothered.

You must have been up so early that you never actually went to
bed. The South Tower was hit our time about 10:45pm, and it
collapsed an hour later. The other one collapsed about an hour
after that. The only thing you were watching live the next day
was the aftermath.
You have that timeline wrong Darren.
How pedantic are you. By your own admission you saw the second
tower hit just around 11pm. You state that it was 17 minutes after
the first one. In which case Noddy stating it occurred around
10.45pm is pretty much on the money.
The North Tower was hit first at 8:46AM NYDT and that didn't
collapse until 10:28AM NYDT, 102 minutes after being hit by
American Airlines Flight 11.
The South Tower was hit at 9:03AM NYDT and collapsed at 9:59AM
NYDT, 56 minutes after being hit by United Airlines Flight 175.
I must have started watching a few moments before 11PM AEDT and
then saw what I initially thought was a rerun of the first plane
hitting the North Tower. It was actually the second plane hitting >>>>>> the South Tower on a live feed of the burning North Tower. It took >>>>>> a moment for the reality to sink in. Further confusing the
timeline was the attack on the Pentagon with Flight 77 and the
crash of Flight 93 in Pennsylvania.
Here Darren; https://timeline.911memorial.org/timeline/10681
Try not to distort facts in order to satisfy your own delusional
ends.
The only difference is that he stated the first tower collapsed an
hour later where it was 40 minutes longer. He's recalling it from
memory which funnily enough tends to compress time when something
like this happens.
On the other hand in order to try and prove a point you've gone to
a timeline website to try and prove him wrong but ended up with a
fair bit of egg on your face.
I watched the whole event almost from the very beginning. I
received, IIRC, a message that said something about the WTC so I
tuned the TV on. I did that in time to get the gist, roughly, of
what was going on and watch the second plane hit the other tower. As
I said, I initially thought I'd just seen a rerun but soon realised
it was a new attack. I watched the whole thing all through that night.
Congratulations. So did I and millions of others. That doesn't make
your recollection any better than anyone else's. >
They have just had all the memorials on the tower for the 25th
anniversary of 9/11 and I watched a few over the past few days so
the timeline has become *re-ingrained* into my mind. As soon as I
saw Darren's post, I *knew* he was talking shit and a a quick visit

we tend to remember what we were doing when major world events happened.
I remember this because I was in the lounge room exercising with-a the TV
on low in the background. after a while that broadcast caught my
attention, and I wondered what it was I was seeing. I also remember what
I was doing when JFK was assassinated. I was in a train traveling to
work in the city, and ppl started saying he had been shot. it was not
known initially that he was killed. someone must have been listening to
a tranny. (a radio not a transvestite) I don't remember where I was or
what I was doing when Elvis died tho. I wasn't interested in him.

There was a time it was worked out that popgun sheriff O'Bullshit was posting every 12 minutes 8 hours a day and 7 days a week and almost all
of it unwarranted abuse. The rest was outright lies, false attributes
and fake recollections sprinkled with self-aggrandising embellishment.
Only the volume has decreased over the years.
