What has his view about "climate change" got to do with the UK drought?
The UK has a long history of droughts dating back to at least the 16th
century which is very long time before humans were using fossil fuels in anything like the quantities we use now so claiming that the current
drought in the UK and Europe is caused by human made "climate change" is idiotic.

The temperatures around Europe aren't anything like usual. My son was in

The average world temperature is rising every year and that isn't normal.

    weren't bothered by it.
Both times I've visited the UK was in their summer, the heat over there certainly feels different to here, what I noticed was that the temp in a
24hr period doesn't change as much as it does here, it can be 29deg C at
6.00 and the same at midnight or at least that's how it was in the south.

The average world temperature is rising every year and that isn't normal.

Maybe so but that doesn't change the fact that droughts in the UK and
Europe are nothing new, according to Google they occur every 5-10years
and have been doing so for centuries.

The latitude of Melbourne is approx 38 degrees, London is 52.5, you'd reasonably expect it to be a bit cooler there. It is actually 1 degree
of latitude north of the northern tip of Newfoundland a bloody cold
place in winter, but the UK climate is moderated by the Gulfstream.

One of the oddities of climate change is that, if the glaciers of
Greenland should melt to a significant degree, it could stop the
Gulfstream, and the UK would be just as cold as Canada in winter.

family and going to Goodwood, they said that it was warm but they
    weren't bothered by it.
Both times I've visited the UK was in their summer, the heat over
there certainly feels different to here, what I noticed was that the
temp in a 24hr period doesn't change as much as it does here, it can
be 29deg C at 6.00 and the same at midnight or at least that's how it
    was in the south.

The average world temperature is rising every year and that isn't
    normal.

Maybe so but that doesn't change the fact that droughts in the UK and
Europe are nothing new, according to Google they occur every 5-10years
and have been doing so for centuries.

It's impossible to *not* be depressed by another "fact". This being that Deryl is allowed to vote.

Reckon he is dumb enough to vote for One Nation? He is pretty dumb after
    all.

The UK has a long history of droughts dating back to at least the
16th century which is very long time before humans were using
fossil fuels in anything like the quantities we use now so claiming >>>>> that the current drought in the UK and Europe is caused by human

The temperatures around Europe aren't anything like usual. My son
was in the UK a few weeks ago, even he reckoned that it was bloody
    hot even by Australian standards.

My son and his girlfriend were also in the UK in July visiting her
family and going to Goodwood, they said that it was warm but they
    weren't bothered by it.

Oh no question. Anyone who over-rules a massive amount of scientific
evidence with the personal experiences of him and his immediate family
    easily qualifies for ON membership.

According to today's SMH, the temperature in London yesterday was 38
degrees, that's not normal. There have been 2 train crashes in the
last few days there possibly due to over expansion of the rails in the
    abnormal heat.

Agree that that isn't normal for that part of the world, unlike here
their infrastructure isn't designed to cope with those temps.

There are wild fires in the UK, I don't remember that happening before,
and scientist are concerned that grass is beginning to spread in the Antarctic. All this tends to indicate that the world is heating up.

Bullshit with wildfires in the UK which are actually due to drought and nothing new
