NOAA used to provide a Site that would give weather for airports. (http://www.wrh.noaa.gov) It appears that since they have revamped
their Site, that function is no longer available. Closest I can find
is https://www.weather.gov/ which is almost useless. https://airportweather.com/ looks a little better.
Still can't figure out why I can't get to Kroger.com!

The server was in the process of tipping over.
A portion of the server was restored from backup,

Repeating:
Windows 7
SeaMonkey 2.53.23
1. Go to <https://www.noaa.gov/weather>.
2. Under "Local forecast", enter location and then select the Go
button. I used my ZIP code.
3. A list of locations based on your entered location might appear. If
so, select the correct location.
Using Firefox 115.36.0esr, the navigation appeared slightly different.
1. Go to <https://www.noaa.gov/weather>.
2. At the top of the page, select "Find your local weather".
3. In the resulting input area, enter your location.
4. A list of locations based on your entered location might appear. If
so, select the correct location.
5. At the top of the resulting page, select the "See full local
forecast" button.
jetjock,
You don't have permission to access
"http://www.wrh.noaa.gov/zoa/mwmap3.php?" on this server.
Neither have I.
I just "googled" the above, and got this back :
https://www.noaa.gov/weather
Maybe thats the new entry ?
As for kroger, my browswer showed it using HTTPS (not HTTP).

Two strikes against you: Win 7 and Firefox. I have not looked at the
NOAA site so can't help with that, but I can help with retail stores.
Kroger, WalMart, HomeDepot, Lowes and many other seem to have tightened
up their websites to only allow MS Edge and IPhones.
I use mostly Win 7 with either FF-esr or SeaMonkey and get around those >types of websites using a UA string that says Win10 and FF 115.0.
FF 115.0 always seems to work whereas other FF numbers do not:
Create a new UA override and string using about:config:
Name: general.useragent.override
String: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:109.0)
Gecko/20100101 Firefox/115.0
Also: I set general.useragent.compatMode.firefox to False.
The above works for me for most of the websites that I visit.
YouTube needs it's own UA. I tell YT that I am on a Linux Android Apple >Safari and it is happy.

Can anyone tell me why I keep getting this message on Websites that I

In short, your computer (and OS) is too old to support a Modern
Browser with all the kruft now required.
I'm willing to upgrade my browser if they will send me a new
computer.

How does it feel, to be using your "last computer" ?
I'm surprised customers are not writing their own browsers :-)
I love to do battle with the "Just a Moment"
status of a CloudFlare block. The CloudFlare operator was
lamenting that Agentic AI traffic now exceeds human traffic.
Well, bud, you're the asshole that made that possible.
Here, have a "Just a Moment". They're free and yours
for thinking you could use the Internet.
Sourceforge.net seems to be using that service now.
Another of my favorite messages, is "we have detected abnormal activity". >Yes, that's me, breathing oxygen. Quite quite abnormal.
I even got a commercial site yesterday, reporting "Error" when
any search at all was attempted. I tested all my browsers, and
not-a-one would work. Not even MSEdge. Spiffy. Here, have an "Error".
Some day, they will build an altar, entitled
"Just the right behavior"
as an example for the citizens to aspire to. You will look
at the altar, the web page that renders, and say things
like "how did they do that?" and "why doesn't it work for me?".
It will seem like only yesterday.
Some day, the CloudFlare guy will be boasting "there don't
seem to be any humans at all on the Internet". Victory!
Just A Moment.

Oh. Thank you. I, too, get that message. I wondered whether it was
something I had in the "security" bits. It's nice to know that it's
because I'm obsolete and dying. :)
I'm willing to upgrade my browser if they will send me a new >>computer.I, however and on the other hand, am not.
Fuck them.
If they can't make their sites secure without blocking "legacy" kit
then they haven't got the brains of a Zabriskan fontema and they don't >deserve to spread their message.
So, in the eloquent words of the universe's greatest poet, who is me,
fuck them all.
J.
As I told the scorestream folks, if this security bullshit gets any
worse, nobody will be able to access anything anymore, and then it
will be totally secure!!

Then not jailing those lawyers and taking all of their properties and

error.
I don't know what we could have jailed them *for* but their lead in
the creation of spam is certainly some sort of criminal.

[] What's an I. S. P'? (In UK, an ISP is an internet service
provider, who vary from good to incompetent/irritating, but rarely
evil.)
