After reading all the posts here regarding TT desktop, I thought I'd
try installing TT Business since it will work for one more year on Win
10.
Installation and cracking (using the hack that was published a couple
years ago) I got TT running ok. ( was not about to pay for it until I
knew it was going to work!) It was then that I noticed that there is
no longer any provision for doing a 1040 return, only estates and
trusts, form 1065 etc. I'm not sure there ever was, but it seems to me
that I used it many years ago for my 1040. It may have been "Home &
Business".
Uninstalled it and downloaded Home & Business, but was told that it
does not work on Win 10.
So there you have it. Looks like I'll be using H&R Block until it too,
decides to quit! Sad!! At least Intuit asked why I had not finished
installing and I told them I would not be using TT to file this year.
Maybe if they get enough rejections they might wake up.
