Denmark only has 5000 (2023), but more than half our power
consumption is covered by renewable energy.

We are less green than that sounds. An awful lot of the energy is
sucked up by data centres and bitcoin bastards - so much that some
companies who want to run on electricity, can't get a connection.
    There's not enough energy.

A lot of problems could be solved by banning cryptocurrency. What is it
good for, apart from criminal activity?

In the UK, it seems to be an ideal way to put money into the pockets of >certain politicians - who then stand up and offer great praise for the >wonders of... crypto currency.

Meanwhile, the people who own data centres should be among the first up
against the wall, come the revolution.

Donald Trump finally became a real billionnaire from profit on his own cryptocurrency, plus, the sales of his vanity-money.

For Trump, these allow him to offer to accept bribes in whatever
form suits the donor best. Contribute to his building projects?
Those are 'mixed' funding, so the government puts up money
(probably, mmost of what is needed) and there are few controls
on who gives what or what is spent on what. I think he practiced
tricks during his first (2017) Inauguration, which raised far more
money than was ever properly accounted for. So far as I ever hear.

Yes, probably in dollars. But I wouldn't accept any piece of paper with
