• "Stop" spelled with a "tap", not a "t"?

    What's that phonetic spelling system where the word
    "stop" does not have a "t" but a "tap", and is spelled
    with a non-keyboard character that looks like an upside
    down lower case "t"?

    It sounds great if there were a program that translates
    speech and phonetic text back and forth and definitely not
    to have to rely on black box programs like "AI" or any
    other dumb program that doesn't disclose it's work.

    I've seen printed dictionaries that have that system,
    but not something that I can read or write into with
    the aid of a computer.
