you have to do to "make it", so that when you look back on your life
and think, "I really could have made it", you think "Yes! I really did
make it!"
There are lots of egos here, and lots of people who are happy that
they "made it", and plenty of people who probably feel they missed
out; but none of us started out being traded as slaves and sold on as animals. Your pretty daughter being sold on to somebody else for a
profit?
