This was interesting at times and often pretty funny. It's Jeff along
with some production people walking around the hotel room they had
booked talking to players. There's absolutely no S50 game spoilers. Jeff
does drop some casting gold however.

Watch and it'll become very obvious why Jonathan was cast.Colby needed a
long phone call to convince him to play again. They kept a potential
spot open for S49 but the producers at the end said they need to have
both Rizzo and Savannah. She gave a conditional yes at first until she
got approval from her partner. Jeff seemed to like that. Doesn't sound
like RIZGOG waited to get approval from LIZGOD. Both of them getting
cast is what resulted in the cast expanding to 24 people.

Gen asked Jeff what tribes she and Q would be put on if they did a
Heroes vs. Villains season. Jeff said Q would be a Hero and Gen a Villain.

Sophie Balerdi has not been banished from the Survivor community. When
Jeff was told she was there he bolted over to her immediately and gave
her the only hug of the night. She's working for them doing S50 events
and gave away a trip to Fiji today at an event.

There's a lot more that was said. I gave the highlights for me.

Not sure the math is mathing. If they had one spot open for S50 but
then expanded the cast to 24 to accommodate an extra player from S49 -
what was the number before? If they were set on three teams, then it
would have to be 21 or 18. But 21 would imply odd numbered teams, and
they always start with even numbered teams to assure equal numbers of
male and female. They also clearly engineered the count to have equal
number of old era and new era, so 21 wouldn't work. So is he saying
they went from 18 to 24 because of needing two from S49? Doesn't really
    make sense.

And I think Q would be a villain and Gen a Hero. The more interesting question might be what do you do with Savannah and Rizo?

When Jeff was talking to Tiff he told her she was never a sure thing but always a strong consideration for everyone of the 50 to 60 different
season themes they considered. One of them was something like five
people who were good at X, five good at Y, five who were screwed over by
fire, etc. I did hear at one point late in the process that they were
going to go with 21 players. Maybe at some point down the road we'll
find out how they arrived at 24, etc. I'd love to know whose idea it was
to have just three winners and all of them from the New Era.

And I think Q would be a villain and Gen a Hero.-a The more interesting question might be what do you do with Savannah and Rizo?

Gen's definitely a villain and seemed pleased when Jeff said he would
cast her a one. I would cast Rizo and Savannah as Heroes. Neither did
    anything villainous in S49.

One interesting point that came up last night as Jeff was mingling with
the players is that Jonathan, Chrissy, and Gen had not played with
anyone else on the cast. I wonder if that turned out to be an advantage
    for them.

Your fave Mike White wasn't at the event. Jeff did mention though that
the night before Mike put on a very impressive event for everyone. Maybe
we'll end up seeing more Survivor players on White Lotus.

Technically, neither did Jenna Lewis. She was on All-Stars with Colby
but they were on different tribes and Colby got voted out before there
    was any tribe swap.
