I've never re-watched any Survivor season after the first because I just
don't care much about individual episodes and am more intrigued by who
won and lost each season. Some of the moves he cites like Jesse taking
out Cody ultimately didn't really mean all that much since Jesse didn't
    make it to the finals.

But having said that, I do want to take note of a couple of key episodes
    I think he leaves out:

First, there is no reference to Sue's famous rats and snake speech in
season one which was maybe the first ever case of a bitter juror
speaking out against the finalists. That's an iconic moment people
still talk about after more than a quarter of a century.

Also in terms of key episodes, I think the first "swap" episode from
Season 3 was massively significant and completely surprising. I don't
think there had been any spoilers leading up to it and the players were completely shocked. None of the other international versions of Survivor
had done anything like that to that point, and it clearly set the stage
for swaps on all future seasons.

And lastly, I would add the episode in season 4 where John Carroll's supposedly dominant alliance fell apart after the two smaller alliances combined to take his group out. After three plus seasons of general
Pagonging where a majority alliance pretty much controlled the game
through to the end, this was the first time such an alliance fell apart.

I'm sure there's a few other key eps Rob left out, but for the most part
    his list is pretty good.

I've never rewatched an episode let alone an entire season. I will watch
clips if they get posted with a good context to watch them or if I watch
a video from a good Survivor content creator such as Peridiam. I was
surprised anything from S43 got mentioned in a Top 10 list. "Operation
Italy" from S47 was a much more key moment.

But having said that, I do want to take note of a couple of key episodes
    I think he leaves out:

It's too bad we don't know Rob's reasoning behind his choices. In terms
of "swaps," did another show do them before Survivor which might have
made Rob think it was no big deal it happened on Survivor?

And lastly, I would add the episode in season 4 where John Carroll's supposedly dominant alliance fell apart after the two smaller alliances combined to take his group out.-a After three plus seasons of general Pagonging where a majority alliance pretty much controlled the game
through to the end, this was the first time such an alliance fell apart.

Rob might have viewed that as players starting to figure out the
strategic side of the game but nothing overly special.

I'm sure there's a few other key eps Rob left out, but for the most part
    his list is pretty good.

I agree. Don't forget these are his "favorite" episodes. His best
episode list could be different. Either way, narrowing down 700+
episodes to 10 would be very hard. I'm going to go out on a limb and
predict that the Billie Eilish boomerang idol episode is not going to
make any of my top 10 lists. Same goes for MrBeast.

    ranks-top-10-favorite-survivor-episodes

I've never re-watched any Survivor season after the first because I
just don't care much about individual episodes and am more intrigued
by who won and lost each season.-a Some of the moves he cites like
Jesse taking out Cody ultimately didn't really mean all that much
since Jesse didn't make it to the finals.

I've never rewatched an episode let alone an entire season. I will
watch clips if they get posted with a good context to watch them or if
I watch a video from a good Survivor content creator such as Peridiam.
I was surprised anything from S43 got mentioned in a Top 10 list.
"Operation Italy" from S47 was a much more key moment.

But having said that, I do want to take note of a couple of key
episodes I think he leaves out:

First, there is no reference to Sue's famous rats and snake speech in
season one which was maybe the first ever case of a bitter juror
speaking out against the finalists.-a That's an iconic moment people
still talk about after more than a quarter of a century.

Very true. Probably a big reason why the show got so much buzz after
    the S1 finale aired.

Also in terms of key episodes, I think the first "swap" episode from
Season 3 was massively significant and completely surprising.-a I
don't think there had been any spoilers leading up to it and the
players were completely shocked. None of the other international
versions of Survivor had done anything like that to that point, and
it clearly set the stage for swaps on all future seasons.

It's too bad we don't know Rob's reasoning behind his choices. In
terms of "swaps," did another show do them before Survivor which might
have made Rob think it was no big deal it happened on Survivor?

And lastly, I would add the episode in season 4 where John Carroll's
supposedly dominant alliance fell apart after the two smaller
alliances combined to take his group out.-a After three plus seasons
of general Pagonging where a majority alliance pretty much controlled
the game through to the end, this was the first time such an alliance
    fell apart.

Rob might have viewed that as players starting to figure out the
strategic side of the game but nothing overly special.

I'm sure there's a few other key eps Rob left out, but for the most
part his list is pretty good.

Right.-a In my mind they might rank just lightly ahead (or maybe not) of that one awful Bhanu-centric episode.

Jeff and company had such high hopes for Bhanu. He turned out to be
probably the biggest casting mistake of the New Era. He's also one of
the few players to have completely disappeared from the Survivor universe.
