None of this is new information, but it's still interesting to see
    photos of the three tribes.

Some of them look so different, especially Chrissy. This also makes me question some of the casting choices again. For example, why Tiff and
not Venus or any number of New Era females who played better games than
    her.

Only reason I can think of for choosing Tiff over Venus could be they
had some DEI goals for number of black contestants. They apparently
already dropped Maryanne in favor of Savannah, so they perhaps maybe
needed Tiff to meet a quota for number of black females.

The new owners killed DEI long before S50 casting was anywhere near
done. I'm fine with diversity as it's given a lot of good players we
never would have seen in the old days. Was Tiff the best black female
player of the New Era? Dropping Maryanne for Savannah makes total sense. Savannah was a great player and exciting to watch. She's also half
Chinese which covers that demo if the show is still following DEI to
    some extent.

While it's true the new owners and CBS have dropped specific DEI goals,
the producers of Survivor apparently have not. Here's what Jesse
Tannenbaum had to say on this:

"Well, from my perspective, nothingrCOs changed. IrCOve always, in the back
of my mind, felt we needed more diversity on these shows. It became a
mandate for season 41. ItrCOs really beautiful to see the amount of people
who apply in our database when they see someone that looks like them on television. So fast forward to now, seasons 51 and 52, which werCOre
currently casting. The pool of people is insane. IrCOm still shooting for having a really diverse cast because I think everybody needs to be represented."

I thought that was the case with the show. It's a good call as long as
we don't get a repeat of the crap that happened in S41 and S42, and what
    MC did in S49.

Jesse's comment also makes it sound like nothing will change casting
wise for TAR and BB. I would like less narcissists on BB.
