Scores of fans have long dreamed about taking a seat at a Survivor
Tribal Council or feasting their eyes on a hidden immunity idol. Now
those dreams can be at least semi-fulfilled as Entertainment Weekly can exclusively report that a major new Survivor exhibit is coming to the
Paley Museum in New York City.

Timed to coincide with the franchiserCOs landmark Survivor 50 (which
premieres Feb. 25 on CBS), rCLOutwit, Outplay, Outlast: Celebrating 50
Seasons of SurvivorrCY will open Feb. 20 and run through May 31 and is presented in collaboration with CBS, Pluto TV, and Amazon MGM Studios.

As for what awaits fans at the exhibit, the Paley Museum notes that, rCLHighlights of the experience for visitors will include Instagrammable moments with a Survivor torch and the chance to take a seat at Tribal
Council and reenact the showrCOs dramatic votes; authentic outfits from
host Jeff Probst and Survivor castaways, as well as immunity idols and necklaces, a torch snuffer, and other rare game pieces; original
sketches of legendary Survivor props, logos, and sets; behind-the-scenes photos and videos highlighting the most memorable and impactful moments
in the seriesrCOs history; screenings of classic Survivor episodes in The Paley MuseumrCOs Bennack Theater; and more.rCY

Personally, the sketches of Survivor props, logos, and sets have us most intrigued, but maybe thatrCOs just because we are super nerdy. Then again,
I guess that makes us the exact target audience.

And if you were hoping to come face-to-face with the host and famous
players from the past, you can do that too! ThatrCOs because the Paley
Museum is hosting a big red carpet event on Feb. 24 titled rCLThe Tribe
Has Spoken: An Evening with Jeff Probst and Survivor 50 Castaways.rCY Not
only will attendees get to watch Probst mix up with legends of the game,
but there will also be rCLan exclusive extended first look at the Survivor
    50 premiere.rCY (Oooooh, early access!)

The panel will also include "an entertaining discussion about the new
season, Survivor secrets, and behind-the-scenes stories from the showrCOs unprecedented twenty-six-year run."

Before the panel begins, the museum will be hosting a reception with
Survivor 50 contestants like Aubry Bracco, Cirie Fields, Stephenie
LaGrossa Kendrick, Ozzy Lusth, and Benjamin "CoachrCY Wade. Tickets to the event are open to the general public on Sunday, Jan. 25, at noon ET.

As for the exhibit itself, the Paley Museum notes that rCLthis immersive exhibit will bring the show to life with memorable props and iconic
artifacts spanning the seriesrCO run, offering the unique opportunity to relive SurvivorrCOs most unforgettable moments and engage with the show in
    a whole new way.rCY

And the exhibit will be free for Paley members, meaning not all
attendees will be required to dig deeprCa into their pocketbook.

Although a lot of this is fluff, I think a realistically created TC
structure where you can actually sit where the players sit and have the
fires burning, realistic buffs and other artifacts, etc. could actually
be pretty cool. I just wonder how accurately they will do it.

I can't see them building an exact replica of a TC set for an ~3.5 month
long stay. Is the museum even big enough to do something like that?

The list of players mentioned to be at the reception on February 24 is interesting. None of them are from the New Era. Is that a sign that the
museum thinks its members don't want to see New Era players? Hopefully
the event is recorded and then uploaded to YouTube.

If you go to the actual Paley Center website it says:

Join many of your favorite Survivor 50 castaways, including Aubry
Bracco, Cirie Fields, Stephenie LaGrossa Kendrick, Ozzy Lusth, and
Benjamin "CoachrCY Wade, for a special reception celebrating this landmark season.

The word "including" suggests there will be more attending than those
listed. It's possible they just listed the names of players who had
already played multiple seasons and might be better known than the New
Era players who all just played one time.
